The certificate sometimes cannot be issued due to domain settings.
Check your Domain Name System (DNS)
1. If your DNS is not registered as “Cafe24”, your SSL certificate will not be issued.
2. If the issuance failed due to an issue with your DNS, you can make a second request for a certificate.
- Make sure you request the certificate in the [Domain] menu one or two days after updating your DNS.
3. The certificate will be issued once the domain can be accessed without any issue.
Check your domain type
1. Some domain types are not eligible for SSL certificates.
- Your SSL certificate will not be issued and the status column will be filled with “SSL certificates cannot be issued for this domain.”
e.g. This will happen if your domain is any of the following types:
Domain names with .bank extensions, Certificate Authority extensions, and domain names with extensions that are similar to renowned companies or cloud services.
2. If you are no longer using one of the domains that is connected, please delete it. An unused domain’s DNS might be preventing the issuance of the certificate.
If you get an error message while installing the SSL
