Check if your website has met all the requirements for Google AMP.
Google AMP requirements
1. Check if your website URL begins with “https://”.
Google AMP can only be used on domains with SSL certificates. If your domain does not have an SSL certificate, go to your domain settings and install one on your primary domain.
- Settings: Go to [My Store>General>Domain] on your admin page.
2. Check if Google AMP is enabled.
- Settings: Go to [Themes (Mobile)>Google AMP>Google AMP settings] on your admin page.
3. Check if you have allowed access for web crawlers.
You must allow Googlebot to crawl your website if you want to enable Google AMP.
Check [Web crawler access settings] in [Search Engine Optimization>Advanced settings (Tab)].
- Settings: Go to [My Store>Store setup>Search Engine Optimization] on your admin page.
4. Your website may not appear immediately on Google Search results.
It may take some time for Google to crawl your pages and display it on Google Search results.If you want your website to appear more quickly on Google Search results, go toGoogle Search Console (Webmaster Tools) and submit your website and sitemap details. Your website may not appear on Google Search results if it has not been validated. To validate your website, go to [Google AMP themes] and click on [Validate AMP theme].
- Settings: Go to [Themes (Mobile)>Google AMP>Google AMP themes] on your admin page.
5. Google AMP pages can only be accessed through Google Search results on mobile.
Google AMP pages can only be viewed by accessing validated AMP pages through Google Search results on mobile. Likewise, your Google AMP theme (cached by Google) can only be viewed when accessed through Google Search results.
